Fall into Sedona Mocktail

This is a refreshing non alcoholic cocktail. It’s incredibly delicious.

I love combing savory flavors like umami into a sweet drink. You brain is like wow this is sweet but in the back theres a savory like quality. It really is kind of mind blowing.

Few ingredients create sweet umami. Most people are familiar with the umami from roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, cheeses, miso, etc.. But this balsamic is so sweet its excellent in desserts or in beverages. Its a local fig balsamic, that is the secret ingredient in this beverage.

I get in Cottonwood Arizona from Verde Valley Olive Oil Traders it is really high quality from Italy and it is barrel aged for at least 20 years with figs to create a truly special flavor in this drink. There is no added sugar to this balsamic. If you don’t have a sweet balsamic you can use a reduction. Local groceies stores have them, but if you have a local farmers market I recommend getting you hands on the highest quality of barrel aged balsamic, because that’s what makes the drink. Theres few ingredients here but they do alot of heavy lifting when it comes to flavor.

I call this drink Fall into Sedona, because of it’s really warm colors they remind me of Fall and of course mirror the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona.
