Sliced Apples Nachos

A quick snack that is also fun to eat. Light healthy sweet.

Apple Nachos

Prep time 5 mins total time 10mins

3-4 servings

3 medium apples

Squeeze of lemon

For sauce

4 tablespoons of almond butter

1/2 cup of water

3 pitted soaked madjool dates

Pinch of salt

For topping

1 tablespoon of hemp seeds

2 dates chopped fine

Sliced slivered almonds

Dried cranberries

Method

Using a mandolin or a sharp knife begin by slicing your apples. I like to slice mine pretty thin maybe half of a 1/4 inch.

Add them to a bowl and squeeze with a little lemon juice. Set Aside.

Add peanut butter, dates, and water to a high powered blender and blend until smooth. If needed as a tablespoon of water until you have perfect consistency.

Layer your apples and add sauce toppings and repeat until your plate resembles nachos.

Enjoy with your friends or family.
